Job summary

RecruitME is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a field-based role covering Cambridge and surrounding areas with regular travel. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on HV/LV equipment, diagnosing faults and ensuring safe, reliable operation across a network of sites.

You will join a team supporting maintenance across multiple sites, liaising with contractors, and adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Knowledge of high voltage switchgear and BS 7671 18th Edition.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across operational sites.
• Diagnose faults and repair high and low voltage systems.
• Work with switchgear, transformers and generators.
