Job summary

Aspire Personnel Ltd is recruiting two Field Deployment Engineers to cover the Northern Territory and Midlands Territory. The FTC runs until March 2027, with field-based IT deployment across installed analysers.

You will perform OS upgrades, imaging, hardware replacement, software installation, data migration, and system validation, working closely with Field Service Engineers and customers to minimise disruption to laboratory operations. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a 2nd Line IT Support or equivalent IT Professional role.
• Extensive experience providing field-based IT support within customer environments.
• Proven experience in operating system deployment, imaging, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in PC hardware installation, replacement, commissioning, and support.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience performing data backup, migration, and restoration activities.
• Demonstrated ability to support IT infrastructure and end-user technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to work, with a willingness to travel as required.
• Must hold a full driving licence

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated technical deployment support to the Field Service Department, delivering planned technology refreshes and lifecycle activities across the installed analyser base.
• Execute field-based activities including Windows OS upgrades, security patch remediation, system reimaging, IT hardware replacement, software installation and configuration, data migration, and system validation.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Technical Support, Product Management, and customers to ensure upgrades and deployments are completed efficiently while minimising disruption to laboratory operations.
