Job summary

Synergi Tech Ltd in Lincoln, an MSP, seeks a Senior IT Field Engineer for hands-on infrastructure deployments and senior on-site support across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and West Yorkshire.

The role involves pre-configuring equipment, VLANs, Windows Server, AD/GP, and Microsoft 365, plus travel with a company vehicle. Requires strong networking and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in an MSP or field IT role.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, firewall config).
• Experience deploying Windows Server environments and AD/GPO.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless).
• Implement VLANs and structured configs from documented designs.
• Install and configure Windows Server environments; manage AD and GPO.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environments.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and documentation updates.
• Travel across East Midlands and Yorkshire regions.
