Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Delivery Manager to lead a regional team across the South East, from London to Portsmouth. The role combines hybrid site visits, remote work, and occasional office attendance, with a company car provided.

You will drive performance, uphold service levels, manage resources, and nurture customer relationships while supporting a high-performing field team. A proactive leader with HVAC expertise will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing field-based engineering or service teams within HVAC.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Experience reviewing contracts and delivering against service level agreements.
• Proven people leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East region.
• IOSH qualification or similar Health & Safety training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of HVAC technicians.
• Ensure contractual obligations, service standards and customer expectations are met.
• Review service contracts and monitor performance against SLAs.
• Manage resource planning and workload allocation to maximise productivity.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Review and approve remedial repair quotations while maintaining margins.
• Conduct regular site visits to support technicians and ensure service quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements (RAMS, PPE, calibration).
• Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive service excellence and business growth.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Field Delivery Manager to lead a team of technicians across the South East region, covering London to Portsmouth. In this role, you'll drive operational performance, ensure contractual commitments are delivered, maintain strong customer relationships, and support the development of a high-performing field team. This is a hybrid role involving regular site visits across the region, remote working, and occasional office attendance. A company car is provided.

How you will do it

• Lead, coach and develop a team of HVAC technicians.
• Ensure contractual obligations, service standards and customer expectations are consistently met.
• Review service contracts and monitor performance against agreed service levels.
• Manage resource planning and workload allocation to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Review and approve remedial repair quotations while maintaining business margins.
• Conduct regular site visits to support technicians and ensure service quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, including RAMS, PPE, tool management and equipment calibration.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive service excellence and business growth.
