The Census Test roles are field-based positions located in Cardiff, inviting residents to participate in the Test Census questionnaire. You will visit addresses, explain the importance of taking part, and guide households to support as needed.

Starting in March 2027 for about five weeks, the role offers flexible hours totaling roughly 25 per week and training from day one to build confidence in planning, safety, and communicating with diverse people while using mobile tools to record visits.

Responsibilities

• Visit allocated addresses in your local area.
• Speak with residents and explain the importance of taking part.
• Encourage participation and answer questions.
• Direct households to available support.
• Assist with doorstep questionnaire completion when appropriate.
• Record visits and outcomes using a smartphone.
