Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions in partnership with the Office for National Statistics is hiring Household Officers (Census Test) in Breckland to visit households and encourage participation in the test census. No prior census experience is required.

You’ll receive comprehensive training, flexible hours around other commitments, and ongoing support as part of a nationally important project. This field-based role visits local addresses, uses a smartphone to record visits, and offers a paid hourly rate

Qualifications

• No prior census experience required.
• Confident speaking with people and enjoy working independently.
• Able to engage with residents and explain the importance of participation.

Responsibilities

• Visit allocated addresses in your local area.
• Speak with residents to explain the Census Test and encourage participation.
• Direct households to available support and assist with doorstep questionnaire completion when appropriate.
• Record visits and outcomes using a smartphone.
