Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Field Support Supervisor for our Clacton on Sea services. You will lead a compassionate team and ensure the highest standards of care across the service.

You will develop person-centred support plans, perform care needs assessments, mentor staff, and contribute to service improvements while upholding safeguarding and quality outcomes. DBS checks apply, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or care management role.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of care colleagues.
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans.
• Conduct care needs assessments and inductions.
• Provide mentoring and supervise new team members.
• Carry out supervisions, appraisals and competency checks.
• Participate in medication competencies and audits.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and liaise with professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and daily service reports.
• Support day-to-day service operations with the management team.
• Spend time with people we support to help them achieve goals.
