Job summary

Alina Homecare is seeking a Field Care Supervisor in Chobham to oversee care teams, conduct audits, and support staff development within our locally focused service. The role emphasizes maintaining high standards of person-centred care, liaising with colleagues, and ensuring smooth operations across shifts.

You'll lead supervision of Care Assistants, coordinate staff development, and deliver hands-on care when required, while upholding CQC guidelines and driving service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising and coordinating staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice.
• Ability to mentor care staff and ensure care standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spot checks and quality audits on care staff.
• Support new staff through shadow shifts and competency assessments.
• Carry out client reviews and risk assessments.
• Investigate and resolve complaints or concerns.
• Provide hands-on care support when needed.
• Mentor and coach care staff.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and MDT reviews.
• Maintain detailed supervision records.
