Job summary

Alina Homecare in Maldon is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to lead and develop our care team, ensuring high-quality services for local clients. You’ll supervise Care Assistants, carry out spot checks, and support staff through coaching and mentoring to uphold our standards.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years as a senior carer or team leader, strong knowledge of CQC regulations, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a senior carer or team leader.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to have difficult conversations professionally.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Conducting spot checks and quality audits on care staff
• Supporting new staff through shadow shifts and competency assessments
• Carrying out client reviews and risk assessments
• Investigating and resolving complaints or concerns
• Providing hands-on care support when needed
• Mentoring and coaching care staff
• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards
• Attending safeguarding meetings and MDT reviews
• Maintaining detailed supervision records
