Job summary

Alina Homecare in Walton-on-Thames is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to lead, mentor and monitor our care team. You’ll assess client plans, supervise care assistants and ensure our high standards of person-centred care are met.

The role offers on-call work with local assignments, training through the Alina Homecare Academy and opportunities for career progression to management. A full UK driving licence and a flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in providing care and supervising staff.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conducting spot checks and quality audits on care staff.
• Supporting new staff through shadow shifts and competency assessments.
• Carrying out client reviews and risk assessments.
• Investigating and resolving complaints or concerns.
• Providing hands-on care support when needed.
• Mentoring and coaching care staff.
• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
• Attending safeguarding meetings and MDT reviews.
• Maintaining detailed supervision records.
