Role Description The Field Care Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Wootton, responsible for overseeing the quality and consistency of home care services delivered to clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting care assessments and reviews, creating and updating person-centered care plans, and monitoring service delivery to ensure high standards of safety and wellbeing. The role involves visiting clients in their homes, supporting Care Professionals through supervision and coaching, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. The Field Care Supervisor also collaborates with the office team on scheduling, communication with families, and regulatory compliance, helping to maintain excellent relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
Qualifications

• Experience in care supervision or similar role within home care or health and social care, with strong understanding of person-centered support and safeguarding.
• Relevant care qualification (e.g., Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care) or equivalent experience; willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients, families, and Care Professionals.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage visits, reviews, documentation, and follow-up actions effectively.
• Ability to work independently in the field, make sound decisions, and escalating concerns appropriately.
• IT literacy for updating care records, preparing reports, and using scheduling or care management systems.
• Knowledge of local community resources and an interest in improving outcomes for older adults living at home.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle suitable for regular local travel to clients’ homes (or equivalent reliable transport as required for the role).
