Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Field Care Supervisor in Witney to lead day-to-day support for clients and staff. You will monitor health and wellbeing through visits, calls and care-records, and oversee risk assessments to keep care plans person-centred.

The role requires Level 3 in health and social care (or working towards it), a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and availability for 40 hours per week including weekends.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in health and social care or working towards it.
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Demonstrable experience in the social care sector at supervisory level.
• Well organised and self-motivated.
• Available for 40 hours per week including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to clients and staff.
• Monitor and check health and well-being of clients and staff via face-to-face visits and calls; maintain care records.
• Undertake assessments and re-assessments of care needs; risk manage to ensure person-centred care plans.
• Ensure safeguarding arrangements are in place and staff receive training and support to deliver safe care.
• Conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to develop competency and performance.
• Take on-call duties and may work some weekends.

A day in the life of a Field Care Supervisor

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be a main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and monitoring care records.

You will undertake assessments, and re-assessments of care needs and risk manage clients to ensure that their care plans reflect their needs and are person-centred.

You will ensure that arrangements are in place to safeguard clients against the risk of abuse, and ensure that staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver care safely and feel confident to highlight any potential issues.

You will conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to review competency and promote personal development.

The role will include some responsibility for on-call and may involve working some weekends.
