Purosearch Ltd in Devon is seeking an experienced Field Care Supervisor / Care Manager to lead domiciliary care services across Dawlish, Newton Abbot and surrounding areas. The role combines hands-on supervision with building strong relationships with clients, families and care staff.

You will review care plans, supervise staff, support recruitment, and ensure high standards of person-centred care. A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, supervisory experience, and a valid driving licence

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care or similar care environment.
• Confident supervising and supporting care staff.
• Passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communicator able to build rapport with clients, families and colleagues.
• Car driver with access to a vehicle; willing to travel between services.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out regular care and support reviews with clients and their families.
• Completing spot checks, competency assessments and observations of care staff.
• Supporting the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
• Providing guidance, supervision and support to Care Professionals in the field.
• Building positive relationships with clients, families, health professionals and other key stakeholders.
• Responding to changes in clients' needs and escalating concerns when required.
• Supporting recruitment, induction and ongoing development of care staff.
• Monitoring care delivery and ensuring policies, procedures and regulatory standards are followed.
• Supporting on-call duties and out-of-hours requirements, where applicable.
• Maintaining communication between office, care team, clients and families.
