Job summary

Taylor Higson is recruiting a Sales Account Manager to cover field-based work across the North East, Yorkshire or surrounding areas, with regular travel to Hartlepool. The role offers a salary up to £50,000 DOE, plus a performance-related bonus, company car, pension and additional benefits.

You will manage an existing client portfolio and seek new corrugated packaging business, building a robust pipeline and developing opportunities.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience in corrugated packaging.
• Proven account management and new business development.
• 3–4 years sales experience; more welcome.
• Experience selling to FMCG, pharma, industrial, retail, food/bev or e-commerce.
• Confident selling to purchasing managers and key decision-makers.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, resilient and motivated to develop new relationships.
• Organised with good CRM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an agreed portfolio of existing accounts.
• Identify and secure new corrugated packaging business.
• Build a structured pipeline of opportunities.
• Establish relationships with purchasing managers.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate terms.
• Maintain CRM data and forecasting.
• Travel across territory to visit customers.
