Job summary

Popeyes UK is seeking a Talent & Capability Partner to join the Operations team. You will identify, develop and progress talent across our restaurants, partnering with Regional Directors and People Team to ensure strong succession pipelines and leadership capability.

This is a field-based role with regular regional travel. You’ll work closely with restaurant leaders to onboard, coach and develop future managers, addressing performance matters and supporting internal progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a talent capability operational role, ideally within QSR or hospitality.
• Experience identifying and developing talent, building succession plans and supporting internal progression.
• Strong understanding of what great operational leadership looks like and how to develop it.
• Experience supporting people matters, including performance management and Employee Relations.
• Knowledge of learning and development, management training and recruitment processes.
• Ability to build relationships with operational leaders, influence decisions and challenge when needed.
• Hands-on, proactive approach; comfortable working in restaurants and implementing change.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how developing great people drives business performance.
• A genuine passion for developing people and contributing to a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Spot and develop great talent across restaurants to create clear growth opportunities.
• Build future leaders with succession plans and pipelines ready for progression.
• Strengthen management capability through targeted development with L&D teams.
• Own the Manager in Training journey with onboarding, coaching and sign-off.
• Support Operations teams on employee relations, performance and people matters.
• Use talent insights and data to identify gaps and drive practical improvements.
• Champion internal progression by recognizing and promoting internal talent.
• Be active in restaurants to understand ground realities and drive impact.
