Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to own and lead a busy Popeyes site. You will drive performance, people development, and guest experience, delivering top-line results.

You will oversee compliance, scheduling, stock, and cost controls, recruit and mentor teams, and ensure high food safety and brand standards while maintaining a fun, energetic culture.

Qualifications

• Proven GM in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Capable of maintaining safety, cleanliness and service standards.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Own restaurant performance including P&L, sales and costs.
• Recruit, develop and retain restaurant teams; succession planning.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service and guest experience.
• Manage stock, ordering, waste and inventory to targets.
• Review data to identify opportunities and take action.

What You’ll Do Here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin’
  
  

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
