Job summary

Your Home Care Group is seeking an experienced Senior Care Supervisor for our Mansfield branch. Most of your time is spent out in the field with carers, shadowing new starters until they are ready to work independently, carrying out spot checks, and observing competencies on real visits.

You will decide when a carer can work unsupervised and will be the go-to person for carers needing support, working closely with the office team to promptly raise issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care, ideally as a senior carer.
• Confident supporting and assessing other carers.
• A driving licence and your own car.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Shadow new starters until they are ready to work unsupervised.
• Carry out spot checks and observe competencies on real visits.
• Decide when a new carer can work unsupervised.
• Work closely with the office team and raise issues promptly.
