Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Operative (Field based) in Belper - Support Centre. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Estates Manager and offers a salary of £31,500 per year.

You will work as part of a multi-skilled team, performing carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, basic electrics and gardening across care homes and other areas of the business. A full driving licence and willingness to travel between homes are essential, with Jira used to manage workload.

Qualifications

Multiskilled maintenance experience in property care environments.
Ability to perform carpentry, plastering, painting, plumbing and basic electrics.
Confident in driving and traveling between sites.
Good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Coordination and completion of all aspects of general maintenance and repair in our homes.
Completion of any other maintenance tasks as required, working with the wider maintenance team across our homes.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting any issues to management.
Willingness to work one Saturday every 6 weeks.
