Mint Selection | B Corp is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our UK electrical infrastructure market. This field-based role comes with a salary of £70,000–£85,000 plus bonus and a company car allowance, reflecting the niche nature of power quality solutions and long-term revenue growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business development or technical sales within electrical engineering or power systems.
• Strong understanding of three‑phase electrical systems and relevant infrastructure markets.
• Proven track record of creating and closing new business opportunities.
• Experience engaging with contractors, consultants, or engineering stakeholders.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development activity across key UK electrical and infrastructure markets.
• Identify and develop opportunities within utilities, infrastructure, industrial and renewable sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, panel builders, consultants, distributors and end users.
• Influence specifications during early design stages to secure future opportunities.
• Track projects and market activity across infrastructure, utilities and renewables.
• Promote Power Capacitors' harmonic mitigation, PFC, and power quality monitoring solutions.
• Qualify opportunities and provide pricing guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop proposals and convert opportunities.
