Job summary

Royal Canin in the UK is seeking an Area Business Manager to cover parts of Northern England including Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Darlington and Middlesbrough. This field-based role builds relationships with breeders and rescue partners, drives recommendations of our products, and manages a defined territory with show days (weekends included).

You’ll use a consultative selling approach, share product knowledge, and report in weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in territory sales or sales function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication, time management and planning/organisational skills.
• Driver's license with clean record.
• Awareness of Royal Canin products and brand.
• Enjoy working around cats and dogs.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with Breeders and Rescue Partners.
• Identify new customer opportunities and prospects.
• Manage territory coverage and visits based on classification.
• Attend dog and cat shows and events, including weekends.
• Lead Show Unit when required and support Events strategy.
• Maintain product knowledge and share insights with partners.
