Job summary

Royal Canin in the UK is seeking an Area Business Manager covering parts of Northern England to build relationships with breeders and rescue partners, driving recommendations and loyalty for our nutrition brands.

This field-based role includes attending dog and cat shows, managing key accounts, and delivering growth in sales value and volume through consultative selling.

You will work 37.5 hours weekly, with some weekend events, a competitive salary plus bonus and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in territory sales (petcare preferred).
• Strong relationship-building with breeders and rescue partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Full UK driving licence and clean record.
• Willing to travel and attend dog/cat shows.

Responsibilities

• Strive to achieve key KPIs for breeder acquisition and sales growth.
• Identify new customer opportunities and prospects.
• Develop trusted relationships with partners using a consultative selling approach.
• Manage territory effectively and adhere to coverage model.
• Follow structured sales calls and log outcomes in CRM.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and portfolio.
• Attend dog and cat shows and events as required.
