Job summary

Deister Electronic UK is seeking a Field-based Technical Sales Manager to drive the access control business across the UK. You will combine strong commercial sense with deep product and technical expertise, working with installers, integrators, consultants and end-user organisations to specify, demonstrate and sell our access control solutions.

Based from a home office with travel, you will visit the Spalding HQ monthly for planning and training, and maintain CRM records to support pipeline

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sales experience, ideally within access control, security systems or related ID technology.
• Existing relationships within installer, integrator or specifier communities.
• Strong knowledge of access control system architecture, credentials and integration principles.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, commercially compelling solutions.
• Confident delivering product demonstrations, training and CPD presentations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of deister's access control product range by pairing technical expertise with a consultative approach.
• Provide pre-sales technical support including system design input, product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials.
• Collaborate with installers, integrators, consultants and end-user organisations to specify the right solution.
• Translate product features and system architecture into clear customer value propositions.
• Deliver technical training and CPD presentations to installers, specifiers and consultants.
• Support tender and specification processes with technical documentation and schematics.
• Build strong relationships with key technical and commercial stakeholders across the supply chain.
• Relay customer feedback to product management and engineering.
