Job summary

proAV is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join the Service and Support team. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, health checks, and lifecycle recommendations across AV/UC tech while visiting client sites across the Midlands and wider UK.

You will diagnose issues, perform firmware updates, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining thorough documentation and asset records.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining commercial AV/VC environments.
• Strong client communication and escalation management.
• Knowledge of AV signal flow and system architecture.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance visits to client sites per contracts and SLAs.
• Inspect and test AV, VC and UC systems; verify performance and user experience.
• Conduct firmware/software updates when approved.
• Maintain equipment and infrastructure; update asset records and documentation.
• Prepare detailed service reports with findings and recommendations.
• Act as professional representative of the business on client sites; ensure high customer satisfaction.
