Job summary

proAV is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our Service and Support team. You will perform planned maintenance, health checks, and lifecycle recommendations across AV and UC technologies for client sites across the Midlands and wider UK.

You will deliver maintenance visits, diagnostics, and reports while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires strong customer service, documentation discipline, and the ability to work across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining commercial AV and VC environments.
• Good communication with clients and escalations.
• Familiar with service management or ticketing systems.
• Strong knowledge of AV signal flow and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance visits to client sites.
• Perform inspections and operational testing of AV, VC, and UC systems.
• Check system performance, signal integrity, audio/video quality, and user experience.
• Apply firmware/software updates where approved.
• Maintain documentation and asset records.
• Provide professional client-facing support and detailed maintenance reports.
