Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution in Worcester is seeking an Operator - Asset Inspector to inspect the distribution network assets up to 132kV and other statutory assets. The role involves working away from the depot, travelling to sites across the area to perform inspections and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.

You will accurately record inspection findings via handheld devices or company systems, escalate any safety concerns promptly, and manage workload to meet targets

Qualifications

• Experience working outdoors in variable conditions.
• Strong customer-facing skills and professional conduct.
• Commitment to safety and ability to escalate risks.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assets up to 132kV and other statutory assets.
