Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive timber and construction product sales across the North and Midlands. You will manage a portfolio of 200+ active accounts, travel extensively with a hybrid work pattern, and secure orders ranging from £12k to £250k.

The ideal candidate has a proven field sales track record in timber or related materials, experience selling to buying groups, and strong relationship-building abilities to grow accounts and territory profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales track record selling timber or related building materials.
• Experience selling to builders merchants, timber merchants or buying groups.
• Able to handle order values up to £250k and develop new accounts.
• Autonomous with strong relationship-building and account development skills.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of timber products.
• Sell into builders merchants, timber merchants and buying groups.
• Build relationships and manage an existing portfolio of clients.
• Manage order values from £12k to £250k and cover the North and Midlands region.
• Four and a half days on the road with a half day home/admin and 6–12 week journey planning.
