Job summary

Saipem, a global leader in engineering and construction, invites applications for a Field Architectural Building Engineer to support the ENI Liverpool Bay Project in the UK. The role focuses on decommissioning and carbon capture and storage, with on-site architectural and structural coordination of building modules.

The position requires about 5 years of relevant experience on construction sites in Oil & Gas, with material management, and coordination with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Material management experience in construction projects.
• Architectural documentation review and client relationship management.
• Experience in reviewing client requirements and coordinating with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Review Client's technical documentation and requirements and maintain project technical files
• Coordinate external architectural engineering subcontractor activities and check the designs of subcontracted architectural engineering
• Review design specifications and coordinate the architectural and structural design of building modules onsite
• Support the main structural aspects and definition of materials, with due consideration to the structural integrity of the module/building
• Prepare design specifications for architectural works for buildings and cooperates in preparing design specification for civil works relevant to buildings
• Develop functional architectural layout of buildings based on multi-disciplinary input
• Prepare material spec.'s and architectural basis of design for buildings onsite
• Support Procurement in technical interface with Architectural vendors

Purpose of the position

As Field Architectural Building Engineer you will be part of our ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will support the field architectural engineering activities.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Review Client's technical documentation and requirements and maintain project technical files

5 years in architectural building activities within a construction site project environment for the Oil&Gas, Industrial or Commercial industry.
