Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Site HSE Advisor to support the Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project. You will report to the Field HSE manager and help develop, manage and improve the safety management system across EPIC project phases.

Key duties include driving HSE awareness, inspections, risk assessments, Permit to Work oversight, KPI reporting and promoting environmental sustainability on site. UK resident with right to work required.

Qualifications

  • Education: Nebosh diploma or equivalent in HSE or engineering
  • Experience: Several years in Oil & Gas and onshore projects
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work and risk management

Responsibilities

  • Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
  • Conducting inspections, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring equipment compliance
  • Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
  • Overseeing Permit to Work systems and hazardous material controls
  • Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting investigations
  • Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability on site

Purpose of the position:

As Site HSE Advisor you will report to the Field HSE manager. You will provide support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of our Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project.

Qualifications

Experience: Several years of experience in the Oil&Gas industry and onshore projects with activities in construction design regulation management and survey/investigation.
