Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Planning Engineer for the ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will develop and maintain the Project Schedule to meet contractual requirements, using Primavera P6 and MS Project, and ensure feasibility with internal standards.

You will support risk management, prepare status reports with the Project Control Manager, and handle time impact analyses for contract amendments.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years in planning activities within an EPCI project environment.
  • Experience with construction phase planning.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Project Schedule according to contractual requirements and internal standards.
  • Implement the Planning and Progress Control System.
  • Identify and analyse deviations from the plan promptly.
  • Maintain the 90 days look-ahead, weekly and monthly schedules.
  • Assist the Project Control Manager in preparing the Project Status Report.
  • Support the Project during contract amendments/claims and provide time impact analysis.
  • Participate in risk management activities including schedule risk analysis.

Purpose of the position: As Planning Engineer you will be part of our ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will ensure the development of the Project Schedule.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities::

  • Ensure the development of the Project Schedule according to contractual requirements and internal standards, verifying its feasibility and highlighting any criticalities
  • Implement the Planning and Progress Control System
  • Ensure any deviation from the plan is promptly spotted and analysed
  • Create a schedule awareness atmosphere amongst all project participants
  • Create and maintain the 90 days look-ahead schedule, weekly schedule, and monthly schedule
  • Assist the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Status Report
  • Support the Project during contract amendments/claims and provide the time impact analysis
  • Participate in risk management activities including schedule risk analysis

What are we looking for?

Experience: 5-8 years in planning activities within an EPCI project environment

Technical skills: planning for construction phases

IT skills: Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
