Job summary

ServiceNow’s Applied AI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDSE) team is seeking a seasoned Forward Deployed Software Engineer to deliver AI-native deployments for strategic customers in the UK. You’ll own backend services, LLM pipelines, and front-end integrations, partnering with customers in agile sprints to ship production-ready code.

You’ll design scalable, secure software, codify reusable assets, and help shape platform tooling while traveling up to 30% to embed onsite where it matters.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering experience, with 2+ years in customer-facing or embedded roles.
• Design and implement AI-native software in production environments.
• Proficient in backend, frontend, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready end-to-end solutions in agile sprints.
• Engineer APIs, orchestration pipelines, vector DBs, LLM frameworks, UI components.
• Collaborate with customers to deploy and iterate in live environments.
• Codify patterns: libraries, prompts, scaffolds to scale deployments.
• Influence platform through field-tested insights and extensible code.
