Job summary

McFall Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of technology, data, AI and business. You will work directly with investment, operations and distribution teams, taking ideas from problem definition through production in days or weeks rather than months, with security and resilience in mind.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience end-to-end project delivery from problem definition to deployment.
Experience working with users, clients or stakeholders is highly desirable.
Strong experience integrating APIs, databases, files and messaging systems.
Experience with AI/LLM technologies or quick adoption enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Work with business teams to understand workflows and opportunities.
Prototype solutions rapidly, test with users, and iterate based on feedback.
Take successful prototypes through to production with secure, reliable services.
Operate across the full stack: backend, APIs, data pipelines, and front-end apps.
Integrate data across APIs, databases, files and message queues.
Apply modern AI/LLM capabilities to accelerate delivery and new work modes.
