Job summary

Aliaxis UK is seeking an ambitious Area Account Manager to grow demand for our pipes and fittings across London and surrounding counties. You will spend four days a week in the field, building relationships with distributors, identifying project opportunities, and delivering take-offs.

You’ll collaborate with Technical Consultants and Major Account Managers while staying current on product knowledge and market trends.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in construction or building products.
• Experience selling through distributors and on project specs.
• Ability to influence design-and-build specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with independent and national distributors.
• Build and execute a regional account plan aligned to sales strategy.
• Spend at least 4 days a week in the field meeting customers.
• Identify and influence project opportunities with subcontractors and contractors.
• Create pull-demand, deliver take-offs, track pipelines, and secure conversions.
• Collaborate with Technical Consultants and Major Account Managers.
• Support customer events, exhibitions and promotional activity.
• Stay on top of product knowledge, market trends, and reporting.
