Job summary

Redx Pharma Plc is seeking a Translational Principal Scientist to provide scientific, strategic, and operational leadership for translational research across clinical and late-stage discovery programmes. The role focuses on fibrosis, biomarker implementation, and decision-making for novel therapeutics, in collaboration with Clinical Development, Research, Regulatory, and External Partner teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant biological science discipline (Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Immunology or related).
• 5+ years in a senior translational science role in pharma/biotech.
• Experience developing translational strategies to support drug development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead translational science strategies for clinical-stage and late-stage discovery programmes.
• Create and implement Translational Science Plans including biomarker strategies and data analysis.
• Provide input into clinical protocols and study documentation to meet exploratory and biomarker objectives.
• Oversee collection, shipment, tracking and management of clinical samples.
• Manage external CROs and labs responsible for sample analyses.
• Lead biomarker strategy development across multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure translational milestones align with development plans and regulatory requirements.
