Job summary

Harrods is seeking Festive Support Assistants for H beauty Gateshead on a 4-week fixed-term contract from late November to December. Roles include helping customers, replenishing stock, processing transactions at tills, gift wrapping, and keeping the store visually stunning during peak trading.

We welcome candidates with customer-facing experience, a passion for service, and flexibility to cover various store areas, including weekends and busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment such as retail, hospitality, leisure or beauty.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with customers.
• Flexible approach to support different areas of the store.
• Punctuality, professionalism and team spirit.
• Availability to work during the festive period, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for every customer.
• Support customers with enquiries and product recommendations across beauty and gifting.
• Operate tills and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Replenish stock and maintain product availability across the store.
• Support visual merchandising standards and maintain a beautifully presented shopping environment.
• Assist with festive gifting services and seasonal activities.
• Promote our My Beauty rewards programme and customer feedback initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across different areas of the business to support peak trading.
