Job summary

GAUCHO in Liverpool is seeking a Barback for the festive period on a fixed-term contract until 3 January 2027. The role focuses on supporting the bar team with fast, friendly service and maintaining a clean, well-organised bar area.

Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm and teamwork, to help deliver a great guest experience during peak periods. Training and benefits are provided as part of the festive season program.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or bar experience beneficial.
• Teamwork and good communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation behind the bar.
• Preparing garnishes, ice and bar mise en place as required.
• Stock rotation.
• Complete the daily/weekly cleaning schedule.
• Support bar staff at all times to ensure smooth flow of service and guest experience.
• Ensure the bar is stocked prior to and during shift.
