Job summary

GAUCHO is seeking an enthusiastic Barback to join the team in Edinburgh over the festive period. This is a temporary fixed-term contract until 3 January 2027, requiring energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork.

You will help maintain bar cleanliness, prepare garnishes and mise-en-place, stock the bar, and support staff to ensure smooth service and a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation behind the bar.
• Preparing garnishes, ice and bar mise-en-place as required.
• Stock rotation
• To complete the daily/weekly cleaning schedule
• Support bar staff at all times to ensure smooth flow of service and great guest experience
• To ensure the bar is stocked prior to and during shift
