Fencing Installer

Job summary

RG Setsquare is looking for a fencing installer to work on social housing maintenance schemes across the Wirral. This is a potential temp to perm role with a well respected employer.

You will remove old fencing, prepare ground, erect posts, install timber and metal fencing, and paint to weatherproof finished fences and gates.

Applicants should have Level 3 or NVQ2, proven trade experience, and ideally a CSCS card, plus a clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Entry Level Qualification Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 in a construction related discipline.
• Proven Trade Experience.
• CSCS Card (desirable).
• Cable Avoidance Training (desirable).
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Removing old fencing if necessary.
• Preparing the ground.
• Remove hedges, shrubs, and trees where required.
• Erecting concrete or timber posts and fencing.
• Installation of both timber and metallic fencing.
• Constructing, repairing and hanging gates when required.
• Paint and apply weatherproofing to finished fences and gate
