Job summary

Keys Group in Bromsgrove is looking for a Female Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism within a residential service. You will provide day-to-day support, promote independence, and encourage people to lead meaningful lives.

Join our team for 35 hours per week, full induction, and ongoing career development. The role includes health care support, personal care, and domestic tasks, with Enhanced DBS paid, Blue Light card benefits, pension, and a generous annual leave

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is beneficial.
• Ability to work with adults with learning disabilities and autism is preferred.
• DBS check will be required and funded by employer.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence and helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining health care needs and accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

Education

Full UK Driving License - Essential
