Job summary

Affinity Trust in Wisbech is seeking a Female Support Worker to help an older client enjoy daily activities and stay independent. The role involves outings, home support, and gentle care to enable participation in favourite pastimes.

You'll receive full training and have the opportunity to complete an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with benefits including Wagestream, Simplyhealth, Blue Light Card, and a pension.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults.
• Full training provided; NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care available.

Responsibilities

• Support the client to stay active, independent, and enjoy daily activities.
• Assist with outings to cafés, meals, and social events.
• Provide emotional support, respect choices, and adapt to the client’s pace.
• Help with arts and crafts and pampering activities like manicures.

• Hours per week: Part Time or Full Time hours available
• Shift Pattern: 7.30am-10.30pm (long days) plus sleep ins and available to work every other weekend
