Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Highfields service in Caldecote. The role involves helping residents gain independence, assisting with personal care and enabling access to local communities through activities and outings.

Shifts are typically 7am-2pm or 2pm-9pm, with part-time 28-hour contracts. UK driving licence is not specified; DBS checks and references apply. Ladies may be required for this service as indicated by the client group.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, hands-on care attitude.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans or similar.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, disabilities and complex care needs.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain independence in daily life.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Encourage community access, socialising and activities.
• Support individuals to achieve goals such as cooking meals or planning outings.

Our supported living service Highfields in Caldecote is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities.
