Job summary

SeeAbility in Ferndown, Dorset is seeking a Female Support Worker to help a resident live fuller, more independent life with empathy, consistency and trust.

You will support daily routines, plan person-centred activities, build respectful relationships, keep clear records and work closely with professionals. The role offers 37.5 hours per week and a salary of £25,525.50 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Good spoken and written English.
  • A full UK manual driving licence (not essential).
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
  • A practical, active approach to work, with the ability to support people throughout the day.

Female Support Worker – Make Every Day Matter

Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Salary: £25,525.50 per year (£13.09 per hour) plus benefits.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Driving Licence: Beneficial but not essential

Visa Sponsorship: Not Available. Applicants must already be authorised to work in the United Kingdom; the employer is not able to provide new work authorisation.

About the Home

At Arnold Road, Dorset we support a lovely lady who hastransitioned from a long stay acute setting to her own home, supported bySeeability. She has moderate learning disabilities but manages her personalcare with minimal prompting. The days are filled with visits to the farm to feed the animals, attending local village events such as crafts and singing. Being a confident swimmer is essential as the lady attends weekly swimming.
