Job summary

Voyage-Care is looking for Female support workers to enrich the quality of life for residents at our Sawston home. The role involves compassionate assistance, promoting independence and facilitating daily activities across shifts (7.30am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-9.30pm) in Sawston, Cambridge.

The position offers enhanced pay for evenings/weekends, overtime, diploma opportunities, Wagestream access, Blue Light Card discounts, 24/7 doctor line and other family-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence (DL) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to individuals and promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities and community participation.
• Engage residents in in-house and community activities such as arts, crafts, karaoke, and pamper days.

We’re currently searching support workers in our residential home in Sawston Cambridge. Our home is a welcoming, caring and friendly home and we look after the most amazing people.

Churchfield Avenue is an 8 bedded residential home in Sawston. We have a wide range of ages with a wide range of disabilities such as Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Dementia and Cerebral Palsy as well as mental health.

Churchfield Avenue is perfect for individuals who enjoy socialising! Our team encourage the people we support to participate in a wide range of in-house and community activities. Some activities we enjoy include arts and crafts, hosting karaoke sessions, pamper days, holistic and music therapy, plus much more!

Our team is trained to provide compassionate support to individuals and promote independence by offering opportunities for housemates to learn new skills and grow their confidence
