Head First in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to join our daughter's care team in a family setting near Sunningdale, Ascot. You will provide one-to-one support for a 7-year-old with complex medical needs, fulfilling daily care tasks and enabling participation in family, school, and community life.

This permanent role offers specialist training, long-term stability, and the chance to contribute to developmental goals, while working with experienced healthcare

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting children with complex, physical, or additional needs in the UK.
• Caring, patient, reliable, and highly professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, mobility, and continence care with specialist training.
• Support communication using PECS, Makaton, and electronic AAC devices.
• Encourage play, learning, therapy activities, and social development.
• Help achieve monthly developmental goals focused on communication, mobility, independence, and cognitive skills.
• Support speech and language therapy programmes, including oral motor activities.
• Accompany our daughter to school, appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and other support staff.
• Support the wider family to maintain a positive and nurturing home environment.

Salary: £20.00 - £24.00 per hour (Minimum 30 hours per week (up to 48 hours available) Salary Equivalent: £47,760-£49,920 per annum)

About The Role

Hours and Shifts

Term Time

Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm to 9:00pm

Friday: 1:00pm to 9:00pm

School Holidays & Weekends

12-hour shifts on a rota basis

Additional hours may be available. Shift times may occasionally vary according to family needs, with reasonable notice provided.

Pay & Benefits

About You

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience supporting children with complex, physical, or additional needs in the UK.

Caring, patient, reliable, and highly professional.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.

Full UK manual driving licence.

Right to work in the UK.

Seeking a long-term position and able to provide continuity of care.
