Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a female Live-In Support Worker to join a client in the Gosport area. The role focuses on person-centred support, building a trusting relationship and providing companionship in daily life.

The client is a young woman with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Anxiety; you will help with routines, meals, and activities while maintaining a warm, respectful home environment. A permanent live-in arrangement is offered with regular support from the care provider.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with day-to-day activities.
• Support the client with morning and evening routines.

• Assist with light household duties, laundry and keeping the home tidy.
• Accompany the client on outings and visits to family and with her dog.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Foster independence and a trusting relationship with the client.

She is looking for a kind, friendly and compassionate female live-in support worker who can provide person-centred support while also becoming a positive and trusted part of her daily life.She is a caring and thoughtful person who enjoys spending time with her family, having a good laugh and enjoying friendly banter with her support staff. Good communication is particularly important to her, and she enjoys meaningful conversations with people who take the time to listen and get to know her. She particularly enjoys music, with **Pink** being a favourite! She also has a much-loved dog who lives with her parents, and she enjoys visiting them to spend time with her dog.The ideal support worker will be warm, approachable and genuinely enjoy meaningful conversations, having a laugh and building a strong relationship with the client.
