Job summary

Active Care Group in Gosport is seeking a kind, female live-in support worker to provide person-centred care for a client with Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Anxiety. You will join a supportive team and build a trusted daily routine with the client.

You will accompany her on daily activities, assist with morning/evening routines, prepare meals, help with light housework, and provide companionship and independence support while enjoying a positive, respectful home environment.

Qualifications

• Providing person-centred support to a client with cerebral palsy, autism and anxiety.
• Ability to communicate thoughtfully and listen actively.
• Warm, patient and capable of building trustful relationships.

Are you a kind, caring and friendly person who enjoys building meaningful relationships, having a laugh and making a positive difference to someone’s life?We are looking for a female live-in support worker to join our lovely client in the Gosport area and become a valued part of her support team.About the client:Our client is a lovely lady in her late 20s who has Cerebral Palsy, which affects her movement and coordination, along with Autism and Anxiety. She is looking for a kind, friendly and compassionate female live-in support worker who can provide person-centred support while also becoming a positive and trusted part of her daily life.She is a caring and thoughtful person who enjoys spending time with her family, having a good laugh and enjoying friendly banter with her support staff. Good communication is particularly important to her, and she enjoys meaningful conversations with people who take the time to listen and get to know her. She particularly enjoys music, with Pink being a favourite! She also has a much-loved dog who lives with her parents, and she enjoys visiting them to spend time with her dog.The ideal support worker will be warm, approachable and genuinely enjoy meaningful conversations, having a laugh and building a strong relationship with the client.
