Job summary

Active Care Group in Staffordshire is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist a client in her home in Great Haywood. You will work 3x 12-hour day shifts, 7am–7pm, and join a dedicated care team to provide consistent, person-centred support.

This flexible zero-hours role includes full training, regular rotas, holiday pay, a Nest pension and access to our learning hub. We value empathy, reliability and clear communication.

Although the role is offered on a flexible **zero-hours contract**, the position is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.**Meet the Client**Our client is a warm and friendly lady who lives in Great Haywood with her **husband and much-loved dog**, who is an important part of her life.She lives with **Non-Fluent Progressive Aphasia Syndrome**, which affects her speech, swallowing and mobility. As she is non-verbal, it’s important that her Support Workers take the time to get to know her, understand how she communicates and ensure her **choices, wishes and preferences are always respected**.She enjoys **listening to music, watching films and spending time with others**.
