Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a female Support Worker to provide in-home, person-centered care for a client in Great Haywood, England. The role involves 3x12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm) on a zero-hours contract with consistent weekly rotas and full training provided.

You will support with personal care, feeding, medication, mobility and epilepsy care, working in a dedicated double-up team to ensure high-quality care and respect for the client’s choices and preferences.

Although the role is offered on a flexible **zero-hours contract**, the position is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.**Meet the Client**Our client is a warm and friendly lady who lives in Great Haywood with her **husband and much-loved dog**, who is an important part of her life.She lives with **Non-Fluent Progressive Aphasia Syndrome**, which affects her speech, swallowing and mobility. As she is non-verbal, it’s important that her Support Workers take the time to get to know her, understand how she communicates and ensure her **choices, wishes and preferences are always respected**.She enjoys **listening to music, watching films and spending time with others**.
