Job summary

Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire is seeking a dedicated Live-In Care Assistant to join our team. You will support clients in their homes, provide compassionate companionship, and ensure daily needs are met with dignity and respect.

The role includes medication support, meal prep, personal care, and coordinating with a friendly leadership team. Induction begins mid-October 2026, with full training and ongoing development offered.

Responsibilities

As a Live-In Care Assistant,your key responsibilities will include:

• Administering medication,
• Manual handling, using equipment where required,
• Promoting customer health and well-being so they can live their lives to the fullest.
• Household chores
• Meal preparation with the ability to provide good home-cooked meals
• Shopping trips/ Social outings
• Companionship
• 2-hour break every day
• 28 days annual leave pro rata
• 8 weeks on 1 week off- Scheduled breaks

Requirements

• A kind and caring nature
• You must be able to attend our induction the W/C 12/10/2026
• Right to work in the UK
• Fully enhanced DBS on the update service
• An excellent level of English
• Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies
• Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality
• You must hold a permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK
• Previous live-in care experience is a must
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is a must
