Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a Female Care Assistant for evenings (6pm–10pm) to support customers in Basingstoke and surrounding areas. The role offers pay of £13.70–£16.60 per hour, plus travel time and mileage compensation.

You must hold permanent right to work in the UK and be able to work every other weekend. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, helping with daily living, meals, medication, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence may be required by some roles.
• Permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.

Requirements

• *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*
• You must hold a permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK
• You will be required to work every other weekend at least 1 day
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as a full Induction will be provided
