Job summary

Cera Care are recruiting a Community Carer in Barry to help clients live independently at home. You may have experience as a care assistant or be new to the sector; no prior experience is required, just a big heart and a desire to help others.

You'll work flexible shifts (mornings, days, evenings, nights) with weekend availability and potential overtime. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required to travel between visits.

The Role: Supporting clients in Barryand surrounding areas, this is a community-based role, where you will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between client visits. For this role, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.

With flexible shifts available across mornings, days, evenings and nights, plus every other weekend off, we aim to support a positive work life balance.

Registration: In Wales, all social care staff register with Social Care Wales (SCW). The annual fee for this is covered by the employer. You must achieve a recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification within your first 3 years.
